Vampires are all the rage once again. As the Twilightcraze consumes the young adult market, those of us with more gray are enjoying a host of blood-sucking fiends in books, on television, and on the big screen. Modern depictions run the gambit from sexy seductors to pasty parasites.

Looking for something a bit sexier? Try Laurel K. Hamiliton, Nina Bangs, Ellen Schreiber, or Lynsay Sands. There are also a ton of romance writers who specialize in fanged heroes.
If you want to laugh until you cry at the mishaps of the undead, check out Christopher Moore’s foray into vampire fiction (Bloodsucking Fiends and You Suck) or the intriguing and sex-obsessed fiction of Mario Acevedo (The Nymphos of Rocky Flats, X-Rated Bloodsuckers and The Undead Kama Sutra).
